What is the Generosity Project?

A legacy gift is more than a financial decision — it is an act of faithful stewardship, a reflection of a transformed heart, and an opportunity to strengthen churches, expand ministry, and serve communities for generations to come.

Through the partnership of local churches, the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada (CBWC), and the CBWC Foundation, your legacy can help advance Kingdom work across Western Canada.

Faithful Stewardship.

Lasting Kingdom Impact.

01

Your Local Church
Strengthen the church that helps shape your faith

For many people, the local church is where faith is nurtured, families are discipled, and God’s presence is experienced in community. A legacy gift to your local church helps strengthen ministry where it matters most — supporting worship, discipleship, pastoral leadership, outreach, and care for future generations.

02

Camps, Colleges & Ministries
Invest in ministries that shape lives and grow faith

Many of us can point to a camp, a Christian college, or a ministry experience that deeply shaped our walk with Christ. These ministries form disciples, awaken calling, nurture generosity, and help people grow in faith. A legacy gift allows those same opportunities to continue impacting children, youth, families, and future leaders. This reflects the Foundation’s desire to expand ministry and support places where lives are transformed and people are equipped for lifelong Kingdom service.

03

The Timothy Project
Help equip the next generation of pastors and leaders

The CBWC family of churches needs 100 new pastors in the next decade. The Timothy Project is a strategic response — helping identify, equip, mentor, and encourage emerging leaders for ministry across Western Canada. A legacy gift to the Timothy Project helps ensure our churches are led by faithful, prepared, Christ-centred leaders in the years ahead. This is a direct expression of the Foundation’s mission to strengthen churches, expand ministry, and invest in long-term Kingdom sustainability.

Invest in the Future.

04

Church Planting
Help fuel new Gospel witness across Western Canada

Church planting creates new opportunities for worship, discipleship, outreach, and Gospel presence in communities that need vibrant expressions of the local church. A legacy gift toward church planting provides vital support for leadership development, launch resources, coaching, and early ministry capacity. This is Kingdom multiplication in action — helping the Church grow, reach new communities, and reflect the Foundation’s commitment to expanding ministry and serving communities

Canadian Baptist Ministries
Extend compassion, justice, and hope around the world

Canadian Baptist Ministries, churches and donors participate in Christ-centred mission that brings compassion, justice, and hope to communities around the world. A legacy gift to global mission helps support practical ministry, long-term partnerships, and Gospel witness that reflects the love of Christ in tangible ways. This aligns beautifully with the Foundation’s values of faithful stewardship, Kingdom impact, and generosity that serves both local and global mission.
