What is the Generosity Project?
We are excited to introduce The Generosity Project, an overall church engagement plan to support our CBWC church family by designing video resources for pastors that help us step into conversations around Why we give, How we should give, Where we should give and more!
"Give away your life; you’ll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity.” Luke 6:38 MSG

Stewardship Resources
In 2023, the CBWC Foundation joined with the CBWC and Carey to engage Advisors with Purpose (AWP) to bring godly financial counsel and Legacy Planning to the CBWC family. Available to all CBWC congregants with the costs covered by the partnership, AWP provides much needed resources to our family of churches. With good decisions and forethought, all of us can leave ministry enhancing gifts to our home church as well as other charitable initiatives the Lord puts on our heart.
Offering a wide range of online video seminars and personal counsel, AWP can help you be wise, good stewards of your resources and can help redirect taxes on estate gifts into ministry building resources now and in the future.

“Through my association with the CBWC Foundation, I learned that CBWC congregants could receive free unbiased estate planning advice from Advisors with Purpose. My wife and I decided to give them a try. We were soon introduced to a representative who helped us update our plan. We had long intended to tithe on our estate but learned that tithing a specific percentage can bring unnecessary complications. So, we accepted her suggestion of preparing a Letter of Intent so that our tithe would be handled by a third party, in this case the CBWC Foundation, who distributes the gifts according to our direction, without complication. AWP offered great advice and personal service, respecting our faith and values.” – CBWC constituent
